568 A Very Rare Presentation of Angioleiomyoma in the Oral Cavity

Abstract On the maxillofacial department, we receive many referrals of lumps or swellings in oral cavity. The majority these lesions are diagnosed clinically as fibroepithelial polyps mucoceles, with excisional biopsy recommended for histopathological confirmation and removal. We report on rare case a 69-year-old male patient, who presented following referral from his General Dental Practitioner lump representing polyp but was histopathologically an angioleiomyoma. Angioleiomyoma is benign vascular smooth muscle tumour; it very rarely seen head neck, accounting less than 0.5% angioleiomyomas. this to discuss clinical diagnosis raise awareness potential differential
